This oxblood wing back Queen Anne Chesterfield would be a perfect addition to any study living room or bedroom. The leather has a good colour and patina and the legs are sturdy and in tact. There were a number of holes in the leather when we acquired this chair namely the cushion and parts of the arms so they have been patched with red leather (see photo. This Gentleman s wardrobe dates back to the 1930s and has great character. Dating back to the 1930s art deco period there are decorative carvings on the wood and an arched cornice at the top. The oak is in very good condition and is veneered onto a mahogany frame. There are a few light scuffs and lived in marks here and there but overall it is in excellent condition. Inside there are two rails hanging from the front to the back of the wardrobe one on the left and one on the right. The wardrobe has its original art deco handle and a working lock and original key.
